Out of control asthma. what to do?
I've had asthma mywhole life but it has gotten much worse as an adult. Recently, I have been going through an entire ventolin inhaler in less than 1 month. I have very bad allergies which are related to my two cats if you tell me to give them away I will report it as abuse since this is not an option and my bf who is a smoker. I have tried to get him to stop smoking but he doesn't want to quit and doesn't listen to me when I ask him not to smoke in the house. Am I using my rescue inhaler you often? I also take flovent but i'm not even sure if that works since I haven't noticed a change in the year i've been taking it. Are there better meds out there I can ask my Dr about once I am able to go to the Dr again? Are there natural remedies that help in the mean time since i'm almost through yet another inhaler?

Can you help me with my asthma?
So I just found out I have mild intermittent asthma, and was given an inhaler, but I still have some questions I want to ask about all this stuff. I've been sick so my breathing is jacked up and I use the inhaler more than I guess I would usually use it.How many times a day do you normally use your inhaler? When do you use your inhaler? When you feel shortness of breath or chest tightness?Do you sometimes wait out your symptoms to use your inhaler or do you immediately use it?That's all the questions I have for now... thanks for the help

Is it possible to have had asthma since childhood and not have been diagnosed?
I am obese. I'm 32 now. I have been overweight my whole life. I have trouble breathing when walking or exercising. I've always since childhood get really out of breath to where it is extremely hard to breath. My whole family is overweight and no one else has this problem that I have. I never thought about asthma. I just figured it was because I was overweight and I'm thinking my doctors figured the same therefore never testing me for it. My son has asthma. I don't know if anyone else in my extended family has asthma. My son's doctor told me one day that it sounds like I may have asthma. And I had to go to the ER because of problems breathing, coughing, etc and they told me to check with my doctor to test for asthma. They gave me a breathing treatment which made it easier for me to breath, prescriptions for the same meds my son uses but for adults and told me to go ahead and use his breathing machine whenever I am wheezing a lot. So I'm wondering could I have had asthma all these years and just assumed the symptoms were from me being overweight?

If i used to have asthma should i smoke k2 (and im only gonna smoke it once)?

Is caffiene affecting my asthma?
I have been drinking coffee in the morning to reduce anxiety and depression, because it calms my mind down. It has been working very well for me, but ive been noticing my asthma gets terrible when i run, and thats odd, cause i never ever have asthma problems, very rarely i will experience wheezing. I looked up and some say caffiene worsens anxiety, others say it treats it. Ever since i started drinking coffee this has been happening to me. Is that the cause or is it something else?

What are my chances to be cured from my asthma if I had it since I was born?
I'm 18 now. What age will It go away?

Could my asthma be coming back?
I had asthma when I was very, very young, but went away when I was three. Nearly 20 years later I'm thinking I still might be affected by it. For as long as I can remember whenever I laugh very hard I get a lot of phlegm and takes me longer than everyone else to catch my breath. I also become very short of breath when I'm out in the cold, or even climbing a flight of stairs but for some reason I can jog for miles fine? . Also, common colds always seem to affect me the worse. Like brother could have the same illness and have sore throat, but be fine in a few days. For me though it always goes to my chest and I'll be coughing for weeks before it goes away. The reason I never considered this could be from my asthma as a child is because I don't experience wheezing, just easily out of breath.
