What cause thyroid nodule?
My doctor found out that I have thyroid nodule. I went to hospital and had neck cat scan done. Does it stay about the same size or it grow bigger? I didn't do the cat scan for that problem. It was other problem.

During period time my body and face swells a lot,why?Is it due to thyroid?
As i m a thyroid patient my body swells.breast become bigger in size and tight.why?

Can it be a thyroid problem?
Firstly, I'm a diabetic Type II, and I suffer from anxiety. Currently I'm taking Cipralex escitalopram oxalate and have seen improvement. Although there is another problem. I've taken Cipralex only half which is 5mg at 9 15pm and have masturbated at 11 35pm. When I did I got chills and problems breathing. My neck feels like it's heavy and it starts beating just like my heart. Keep in mind that even when I've been completely relaxed such as waking up after a night's sleep or taking an icy shower my breathing is still not normal although overall I feel very calm and normal. It's as if something is weighing me down especially in my neck. I should probably stop masturbating...for now. There are times when I feel normal, too calm to the point where I feel cold and too warm. Can it be my anxiety, the cipralex or can this be a thyroid problem. If it's a thyroid problem I can tackle my anxiety much more easily. Please help Thanks to all that respond I also have problems with my eyes. My eyes are sensitive to light and I can see some red colours in white colours or white light.It's also weird that my body temperature keeps changing from hot to cold and vice versa. Most importantly I can rule out Diabetes as my sugar levels are normal to slightly above average. MI'm currently 23 by the way.If anyone can leave a response on my other post which is under " Is it a good idea to keep taking Ciprolex 10 mg while suspecting thyroid problems?" that would be greatly appreciated Thanks all

Is it normal for a 14 year old girl to have a thyroid problem?
My mum thinks I might have one. She says I show some signs and symptoms. She also has a thyroid problem I'm kinda worried cause i dont really know what it is or if it's normal or whatever. Any info about this can be helpful

19 with a thyroid problem... dont know how to feel!?
i have just been diagnosed with hypothyroidism at the age of 19 and dont really know what to think. everything sais that its commen in wommen aged 50 , but was anyone diagnosed with it young and tried for a baby, how soon after can i try. i am so confused. i dont know what to think.

Is there any way to check yourself if you have a thyroid problem?
I went to the doctors to check my neck because it has swolen badly at the bottom.. but the doctor said it was just fat ... I am still uncertain. nearly every symptom of an under active thyroid i have .. is there any way to check it yourself?

Has any males out there had a thyroid issue and had scrotal / testicular pain?
So my husband has had testicular pain for the past 7 almost 8 months now and the doctors can't seem to figure out what's going on other than an epidydimal cyst. I am wondering if there could be a correlation with hypothyroidism and testicular pain? He has an enlarged scrotum, red and painful. He has a dull ache and sometimes shooting pain. It hurts him to walk and he feels like he has a " bowling ball" hanging from his scrotum. He has gained 25 lbs since the pain began so we're curious. If anyone out there has experienced something like this, please let me know and if you received a diagnosis that would be great Any help would be appreciated We have been to 2 urologists and they will not correct the problem for some reason. We are going to a specialist further away but that is in a month from now so I'm trying to collect some information to bring up to the doc this time. Good diet pills which people with an underactive thyroid can take?
I have an under active thyroid so i cant take dieting pills, does anyone know if there is any diet pills which people with thryroid disorders can take?

I take levothryoin 125mg and have underactive thyroid , i also take calcuim and vit d and selenium?
Co enzyme Q10 , would it be good to take iodine in the form as kelp as well as my hair is going very thin and my nails have ridges on them and break easy although they are growing fast .Anybody know about this.

IS MY THYROID CAUSING PUFFY FACE?
I have a puffy face since 13 im now 25 particularly on one side which is pushing my nose and lips toward the other not so puffy side, its extremely evident on webcam and photos My question is could a thyroid cause this, I had a lovely symetricl face before the age 13 14 which i see from photos, people lately have said how slightly fat my face is, cause im 6 foot and about 14 pounds 1 stone over weight but every time i ask close family they just say everyone is different and look unique.I also have really bad anxiety since im 8 9 years old also a symptom of thyroid be it not a classic symptomAnd i have this choking feeling round my neck along with i think acid reflux.The reason im asking this is cause of my anxiety i get really intimidated by people especially professionals like doctors, dentists, etc and i want to know if i have a valid reason to ask it to my doctor? CAN U HAVE A THYROID SINCE PUBERTY OR EVEN EARLIER LIKE 8 9 WHEM MY ANXIETY STARTED?

I am 41 years old and have been coughing and have this feeling in my throat as if someone has their finger pressing on my neck..my mother and sister have had thyroid cancer..my primary care physician called with my results and referred me to an endocrinologist.
